The Global Logistics Portfolio & Program Director will work with a
complementary team of Global Logistics, Tech, Finance, and Geo
partners to plan, coordinate, prioritize and report on alignment
with top critical initiatives. This role leads a team responsible
for Portfolio Management, Program Management, and Business
Operations capabilities.
In this role, you will ensure the Global Logistics portfolio is
strategically aligned, appropriately prioritized, and clearly
resourced and financed. In the Program Management space, you will
be accountable to develop and deliver high-impact program
management standards and processes, reporting, and tools to
effectively align and communicate plans with cross-functional
partners. Ultimately, with a keen awareness for dependencies and
experience at risk management, you will guide teams to maintain
financial forecasts and actuals, report consistently and with
quality on the health of programs, and ensure value delivery
against key initiative achievements.
In addition to Portfolio & Program focus, you will also anchor the
broader Global Logistics Product Management organization with a
structure for annual and quarterly goal definition and tracking.
You will ensure that the parent organization has clear definitions
and metrics of what it means to "run our business" and will lead
the process to watch and run that performance consistently.
This role requires a self-starter, flexible problem solver, highly
organized leader, and outstanding communicator who has experience
working across teams with varied strengths and influencing
different personalities and perspectives to support the strategic
outcomes the organization is accountable to deliver. A consistent
track record of standing up teams and aligning organizations to
provide clarity and create efficiencies if preferred. A growth
mindset and optimistic outlook is paramount to energize and
strengthen team members who are on the front lines of driving large
scale change in a demanding environment.

Key accountabilities:
Provide thought leadership by translating strategic priorities into
tangible strategic goals and initiatives
Drive and lead portfolio plans and financial forecast including all
key landmarks/results/value drops, facilitate intake process,
resourcing, dependencies, concerns and communications
Participate in the annual planning process for Global
Logistics
Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships across Nike
Leaders to formalize critical initiatives by defining scope,
establishing timelines, highlighting cross-functional dependencies
and estimating level of impact
Work closely with project and program managers, technology leads to
ensure consistent and timely project and program clarity and risk
management
Lead program management health check process on regular schedule to
support collaboration and clarity across all projects to ensure
escalations and blocking issues are addressed in a timely manner
and risks are handled effectively
Ensure strategic priorities are structured for success, including
strategic fit, budgeting, dependencies, and resourcing
Ensure effective engagement across initiatives with sponsoring
teams to allow for flawless transition of new capabilities
Develop and coordinate Transformation Story with Global
Communications to engage the organization in understanding it,
owning it and confidence in the progress of it
Continually evaluate the performance of portfolio and ensure the
process is continually evaluated (checked & adjusted) to meet the
changing complexity and scope of the organization

effective and efficient process and program execution
Collaborate with functional and technical partners to develop
realistic implementation/project plans
Lead annual & quarterly planning & performance review processes
such as OKRs, QBRs, etc
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
Masters/MBA preferred, PMP certification a plus
MS Office, Project Management, Portfolio Management
10+ years experience in Business, Portfolio, Program Management,
Product Management and technology or related field
Strong risk/opportunity identification, analysis, and leadership
skills
Excellent facilitation and communication skills leading
x-functional Sr. management teams
Experience with analysis of portfolio results against key business
metrics - linking capability delivery with strategic objectives,
within an Agile PMO
Experience in financial management, budgeting and forecasting at
the cost center and portfolio level
Validated experience in driving complex organizational
transformation and ability coordinate cross-functional teams
Strong strategic problem solver with shown experience building new
capabilities and teams
Experience in working in an environment with a high rate of change
and short delivery timelines
Ability to communicate complex concepts simply, verbally and in
writing. Ability to create high quality project reports and simple,
succinct, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations and
influence decision making. Ability to adapt communication style to
provide level of detail based on the audience
Outstanding writing, communication, presentation skills, social
skills to work cross-functionally with senior management, business
and technical audiences
Strategy development & planning experience
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous
environments
Change agent/change management skills
Experience working with Agile methodologies, tools and process e.g.
Jira, Confluence as well as more traditional waterfall program
management processes
