About the Organization:You will be part of Intel Advanced Design Organization (AD) within Design Enablement (DE) focused on pathfinding and development of advanced memory technology and circuits to enable best-in-class memory collateral/IP and product design across all generations of Intel process technology.About the role:The Program Manager position within the Design Enablement (DE) organization of Technology Development (TD) is chartered to develop high quality and best in class runsets (DRC, LVS and extraction decks) for multiple EDA vendor tools to support internal and external product design teams. The job requires partnering and leveraging domain experts across various areas of Technology Development, EDA vendors and product design teams (internal to Intel and external) to develop and deliver quality runsets. The runsets are a key component of the PDK (Process Design Kit) that is used by all design teams at Intel and by external teams designing on Intel process technologies.Key responsibilities:

  • Leads a matrixed, cross functional team contained within a larger organization that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers
  • One or more cross functional, matrixed team members is a manager and/or a technical lead and guides performance of functional teams.
  • Manages Projects or Programs where consistent decisions are made regarding the overall goals and objectives of significant programs or segments of the organization through all phases of the lifecycle
  • Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders
  • Has decision making authority at the program level
  • Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of project/program decisions and operates within the guardrails. Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally
  • Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches
  • Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs and communicates expectations to core team members
  • Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule
  • Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals
  • Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met
  • Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate
  • Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions
  • Has basic understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined programCandidate should demonstrate following behavior traits to be considered for this role:
    • Drive a customer-oriented culture in the team and provide with fast response times to user issues and concerns.
    • Presentation skills to be able to convey messages concisely and clearly to senior management
    • Proven leadership, influencing, teamwork and communication skills
    • Demonstrate ability to drive changes towards industry standard practices and methodologies
    • Demonstrate experience in analytical problem-solving capability
    • Work across organizational boundaries

      Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences or related discipline with 4+ years of industry experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of industry experience.Experience in the following areas:
      • Circuit design and/or SOC design
      • EDA/CAD development
      • Using industry standard software engineering principles
      • Process design rules for advanced technologies
      • Automation of workflowsPreferred:
