CS also helps to make Intel and our community a greener place by supporting Intels commitment to environmental sustainability, including investing in conservation projects, setting company-wide environmental targets, and driving reductions in greenhouse emissions, energy use, water use, and waste generation.Responsibilities:As the Vice-President of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), you will be responsible for setting, leading, and executing the corporate strategy across the EHS disciplines including: Safety, Environmental, Occupational Health, Wellness, Chemical Management, Fire Protection, and Compliance for Intels worldwide manufacturing, technology development, product development, and office environments. This role reports directly to the Vice President and General Manager of Corporate Services and will be responsible for approximately 100 global employees.Set the vision and drive EHS excellence across the company.Ensure regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements meet or exceed requirements.Proactively plan and manage EHS objectives to ensure there is no impact to operations or the companys strategic objectives.Measure and monitor EHS benchmarks, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet company-wide goals and drive best in class results.Drive the implementation of programs and initiatives to foster a strong EHS culture.Deliver and continuously improve EHS management systems and global compliance programs.Perform new equipment safety evaluations and hazard analysis.Identify and coordinate training to meet regulatory requirements and improve EHS awareness & performance across the company.Set the vision and strategic direction for the EHS organization.Plan, resource, and direct activities in the organization to meet schedules, standards, and cost.Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.Foster a team culture in which safety, operational excellence, and results orientation are the foundation.Drive the technical/engineering skills required to have a world class EHS team.Lead, foster, and grow our relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive Intels success.Ability to work cross-organizationally through matrix reporting structures in order to accomplish strategic objectives as well as organization development goals.Business judgment, strategic vision and negotiation skills.Creates and implements best practices that are either adopted internally by other businesses or externally within the industry.Ability to work with suppliers/vendors to support EHS objectives.10-15% global travel is required.Decision-making skills and the ability to build respect and influence at all levels.Demonstrate results and accountability for broad leadership, building of followership and role modeling of Intels cultural attributes as follows:Customer obsessed - seek to understand what matters most to our customers, listening more and talking less.One Intel - "we" before "me". We fail fast, iterate and continuously improve.Truth and Transparency - allows the best ideas to emerge and speeds our ability to solve problems faster.Inclusion - Inclusion runs through each attribute and is integral to our culture evolution.10+ years leading best-in-class EHS programs including global regulatory, audit, and compliance standards in a large manufacturing environment.15+ years progressive leadership experience, with minimum 5 years senior executive experience desired; group level staff positions with a history of leading and developing a diverse, geographically distributed, multidisciplinary management team and employees.QualificationsBachelors degree in occupational safety and health, environmental engineering, or related subject.Masters degree and relevant professional certifications are a plus.
