Hillsboro, OR Job Description: Hillsboro Aero Academy's operations
are expanding, and we are now accepting applications for an
Avionics Installation Manager experienced with installations and
troubleshooting on airplanes and helicopters. This is a key
position in a growing, dynamic general aviation company based in
the Portland, OR area. Job Duties: Overseeing and planning
installation of new avionics equipment in airplanes and helicopters
Troubleshooting and repair of installed avionics in customers'
aircraft, including our flight school fleet of over 90 aircraft.
Constant variation in dealing with new technology avionics as well
as legacy equipment - no two days will be exactly alike. Required
Skills/Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with
installations and repair of avionics in general aviation aircraft,
experience in a managerial role preferred. Experience with avionics
in both single and multi-engine airplanes and helicopters
Experience with Garmin, Bendix-King Flexibility in work schedule
Potential travel on short notice for limited duration Dynamic,
