LHH is hiring a Test Engineer for our client, who is among the trailblazers when it comes to paving the way for a safer and connected world with its leading solutions in test & measurement, technology systems, and networks & cybersecurity. Founded more than 85 years ago, the group is a reliable partner for industry and government customers around the world.
We are looking for a highly skilled Test engineer to join the international R&D team for our high-end digital oscilloscopes. Our R&D office is located in the Portland, OR area. We have a light, quiet, and modern work environment in a recently renovated 44,000 sq. ft. facility with a fully stocked breakroom, indoor vertical bike racks, and walking/biking trails right next door. Our team is working in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
Your Tasks

• Analysis of industry standards
• Creating challenging tests for the developers
• Specifying extensions to the test system
• Running, maintaining and evaluating the build and test systems
• Work on a daily base with engineering teams in Europe, US and Asia
  Your qualifications
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent educational certificate
  • Enthusiasm to work on technically challenging projects and to quickly learn/grow in the process
  • Multitasking, able to balance daily shifting priorities without losing attention to detail
  • You thrive as a member of a close-knit international engineering team, and build and maintain close work relationships in a remote environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in English, with both internal and external customers
  • Able to travel occasionally to European and U.S. locations
  • Candidates must be current US residents with valid work authorization
  • Desirable knowledge of Python, MATLAB, C++, Git, Jenkins and CMake

    Salary and Benefits:This is a direct hire role, with a salary range starting at $120k-170k100% benefits coverage including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO
