Product Engineer Key Duties:
Qualified candidates will be expected to help the R&D team
develop manufacturing test solutions to support the release of new
FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) devices. Developing these
tests will require the Product Engineer to work with Design
Engineers in the planning and execution of Design For Test (DFT)
solutions on silicon. Implementation of tests will require a strong
understanding of the trade-offs between test coverage and test cost
on Automated Test Equipment (ATE). Scan chain testing of
synthesized logic blocks will be an integral part of many
solutions. FPGAs are programmable devices and the Product Engineer
is expected to use Lattice's proprietary design SW to instantiate
IP-under-test and create/design a meaningful test solutions for the
ATE.
Required Skills & Experience:
--- BS degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering) with 3-5years of
industry experience.
--- MS degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering) with 2-3years of
industry experience.
--- Design For Test (DFT) principles and methodologies
--- Automated Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) principles and
methodologies
--- Manufacturing test and/or design verification experience is
desirable
--- Ability to program using C, C++, and Python
--- Hardware description language (Verilog or VHDL) experience is
required
--- Experience in the use of programmable logic devices such as
FPGAs is an advantage
--- Strong communications skills
--- Strong Windows, Unix, and MS Office skills
--- Curiosity and a passion for problem solving
