The Data and Analytics organization within Intel IT is chartered with delivering and maintaining world-class data and analytics capabilities that equip the business to capture value through consistent, accurate, reliable, and high-quality data, reporting and analytical solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Analytics Development Engineer to join the Demand Planning analytics team. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The person would be part of an agile team

Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners to understand and document requirements
Convert business requirements to design that can be implemented in cloud environments
Development of the required technical components
Unit, functional and integration testing, and test automation
Utilizes DevOps processes, automation, and best-known methods to deliver high quality analytics solution using internal and external cloud capabilities
Provide status reports and deliver demos
Provide expertise on database management/design to drive integration of business data, functions, and systems
Establish standards, guidelines, procedures, and other infrastructure necessary to support the objective of integration of data
Resolve performance problems
Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data and analytics development using on-premises and Cloud framework, preferably Azure
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Data Warehouse, Data Bricks, Azure Synapse and Snowflake
Programming experience in SQL Server: stored Procedures, Analysis services, Integration Services, and Power BI
Experience with developing Star Schema data models
Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting
Experience with Semiconductor Supply and Demand planning data
Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including integrating data from multiple sources
Experience in production support and troubleshooting

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to explore new alternatives or options to solve data issues, and utilize a combination of industry best practices, data innovations and your experience to get the job done.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
