Principal Service Solutions is hiring Field Service Engineers--that will be responsible for the installations, qualification, repair, and maintenance of Metrology systems at customer sites and is responsible for the necessary transfer of know-how to the customer.Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally.This is a full-time position with full benefits! Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays plus a $2,500 - $5,000 Signing Bonus DOE.Pay Range: $28-$35 DOEWe are searching for detail-oriented people with electromechanical experience/aptitude and a strong work ethic that are looking for an opportunity--that offers unlimited opportunities for growth and career progression.Position SummaryField Service Engineers (FSE) are responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs of semiconductor equipment at customer facilities.-- FSE's will maintain the following sub-systems: --Electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, optical, lasers, and wafer transfer systems (including robots).-- Training is provided on a formal or on-the-job (OTJ) basis.----Primary Responsibilities:Complete assigned formal and OJT with the goal of instrument certificationManage and maintain traveling inventory according to department policy and procedureProtect and maintain company property Pick up and return messages and service calls from customers in a manner meeting service department policiesMaintain appropriate records of all work performed and training receivedPortray professionalism and pride in appearance while conforming to company policiesProvide a positive attitude to all employees and customersComply and adhere to company policiesStrong work ethicOther duties as assignedEducational Requirements:AS degree in Electronics Engineering (or relevant field) or equivalent combination of education and experience as a minimumBS degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge and understanding of analog and digital circuitryKnowledge and understanding of mechanical principlesStrong verbal and written communication skills with management, co-workers, internal and external customerAbility to effectively communicate information to customers and management regarding service activities and schedulesAbility to follow precise instructionsAbility to perform service calls (Preventive Maintenance and Repairs) on one or more models of a product line (measured by instrument certification)Knowledge and understanding of physics and chemistryAbility to work from schematics using various test equipment and mathematical calculations specific to electronicAbility to effectively interface with customers and service department personnelAbility to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English effectivelyExperience, Travel and Other Requirements:Experience using digital volt meters, oscilloscopes, hand tools, and computersExperience reading electrical schematicWillingness to travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the timeEligible to be added to customer's insuranceMust have and retain a valid driver's license in resident StateEligible to acquire a passportPhysical Requirements:Ability to see small objects within a confined areaAbility to quickly transport from location to location using various means of transportAbility to transport parts and/or tools from car to equipment siteAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally--Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequentlyAbility to use hand toolsHand-eye coordination at a level to support a range of delicate activitiesPrincipal Service Solutions is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected statusPowered by JazzHRPI207425068
