Description:The Quality Control Engineer supports all facets of
MSR-FSR's precision parts cleaning and refurbishment business unit
that includes managing site failure analysis, monitoring Process
Control System's (PCS) quality metrics and driving continuous
improvement activities. Essential Job Functions:Quality
MonitoringThe Quality Control Engineer monitors MSR-FSR Process
Control System specifications in conjunction with JMP and TrueChem
software and routinely performs sample inspections of finished
products before and after final packaging according to MSR-FSR
written procedures and quality standards.-- Routine quality
inspections include verifying completion of preventative
maintenance of production equipment, cleanroom protocols are being
implemented and the execution of Production Spot checks.--
Management of equipment and tool calibrations. Maintaining Records
of TestingAs part of daily tasks, Quality Control Engineer
maintains detailed records of metrology inspections that have been
carried out.-- A key responsibility of the Quality Control Engineer
is collecting, at pre-determined frequencies, chemistry samples for
titration, recording within the TrueChem software system then
communicating any required SPC-driven actions to Production
Management to regain control of associated chemistry.-- The QCE is
responsible for continuous improvement of existing site Quality
documentation.-- Execution of Quality System internal audits.
Metrology InspectionWithin the Metrology Lab, the Quality Control
Engineer inspects, tests, or measures parts using CNC-CMM
equipment, high imaging microscopes, gauges, calipers, and
micrometers to ensure that all necessary products are inspected to
meet MSR-FSR and Customer specifications.-- When needed, follow-up
inspection of non-conforming product that has been re-worked by
Production. The Quality Control Engineer works closely with Process
Engineering to support new business development.-- This includes
creating new CNC-CMM programs, capturing critical-to-function
attributes using various metrology equipment and generating First
Article Inspection (FAI) reports as required.-- --Quality
ReportsFrom the data collected from routine PCS and quality
inspections, the Quality Control Engineer creates reports for the
Director of Quality and CTO detailing all non-conformances and
provides feedback where improvements can be made.-- The Quality
Control Engineer supports and attends internal and customer SPC/PCS
meetings. Job Experience / Requirements:---- Must have CNC-CMM
programming experience.5-10 year's related experience in high
technology manufacturing field, preferably in semiconductor capital
equipment or related industry.Knowledge/experience with Statistical
Process Control (SPC) - Control charts, trend rules, when to revise
control limits, definition of stability, process capability
(CPK).Knowledge/experience with Measurement System Analysis (MSA) -
Gauge repeatability and reproducibility.Work in direct conjunction
with the Director of Quality to ensure all aspects of the Quality
Management System are met on an ongoing basis. Excellent oral and
written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and coaching
skills.Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows
environment. Must include Excel, Power-point and Word. In-depth
mathematical knowledge is a must with familiarity of converting
factors and units of measure (standard and metric).-- Be
self-directed, adaptable and maintain a positive attitude in
response to workplace change.Excellent organizational skills.--
Understanding of blueprints and the symbols used on them.6-Sigma
Certification a plus.--Physical Demands:Regularly required to walk;
stand, or sit and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or
crouch.Manual dexterity required to allow safe handling of fragile
parts, use of various tools, equipment & controls.Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision,
depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Regularly lift
and/or move up to 35 pounds.--Work Environment: Occasional work may
be required to work in processing areas where particles and/or
moderate chemical fumes known to be toxic are present. Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.Occasional exposure to
vibration.The noise level in the work environment is moderate to
