Job Description:

• Location: Hillsboro, Oregon 97124 (Temporary Remote)
• We are building a petabyte-class Data Fabric that manages fast moving data and streams from eCommerce, retail and partner channels and powers the critical decisions that drive our business.
• This team is building a unified access capability that will govern access control across the data fabric.
• You will be a DevOps engineer on that team, code-named Adapt.
• Deploy infrastructure in AWS (EC2 based applications, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, Lambda)
• Deliver HA and multi-region deployments (US, Europe, China---)
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform, Git, Artifactory)
• Secure development and production best practices (SSL, IAM/OAuth2, AD, security groups)
• Create monitoring and observability to support deployed applications (ELK, SFX)
• We're hiring great Engineers with talent and persistence who can leverage their existing skills and learn new ones.?
• You should have some of the specific technical skills we're looking for and be expert enough in one or two to help ramp others quickly.
• Be a great teammate on an agile/SCRUM team that sets and meets aggressive goals.
• Mentor new and less experienced engineers to advance their proficiency.
• Work across teams to learn and implement Client best practices for DevOps
• Work with Product Owners, Engineering Managers and your team to deliver solutions that enable Client's digital transformation
• 2+ years developing software systems that operate at scale
• 2+ years developing Platforms on a commercial cloud
• 2+ years with modern CI/CD patterns (e.g. Blue/Green)
• In depth experience with AWS technologies.
• BS/MS in CS, a related field or equivalent experience Ideal technical skills
  • Experience integrating COTS and open source to create petabyte scale data lake solutions
