Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech
Language Pathologist is needed to provide essential services within
a K-12 school environment located in Portland, OR. This contract
position offers the opportunity to work with early learners,
supporting their speech and language development through
evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities: - Assess, diagnose,
and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in
students. - Develop and implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) tailored to each students needs. - Collaborate with
educators, parents, and other professionals to support students
communication goals. - Maintain accurate records and documentation
in compliance with school and regulatory standards. - Manage a
caseload of 25-40 early learning students, providing direct therapy
in line with best practices. Qualifications and Experience: -
Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC
(Certificate of Clinical Competence). - Eligibility or current
licensure for school-based practice. - Completion of Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred. - Experience working with
pediatric populations, especially in school settings. - Strong
communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Position
Details: - Number of Openings: 2 - Location: Portland, OR (Columbia
Service Center) - Work Arrangement: Hybrid/In-Person (3-4 days in
person per week) - Contract Duration: Immediate start through June
10, 2026 - Caseload: 25-40 students, primarily early learners This
