Job Description:
Description The beautiful Catholic parishes of St. Mary Magdalen
and St. John the Evangelist in Everett, WA are searching for a
Pastoral Assistant for Stewardship. This vital role will be to
provide administrative services in support of the parishes and all
of their activities. This position does not offer the flexibility
of remote work. The offered salary range is $22.00 - $25.00 per
hour and will be determined based on internal equity, applicant's
skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
Qualifications Essential Position Functions Coordinates all funds
raised and grant opportunities for the parish including preparing
informational materials, ads, bulk mailings, posting of pledges,
thank you letters, monthly/quarterly/annual donor statements and
status reports. Maintains the Database System for all funds, pledge
drives, and parish financial reports for parish Stewardship,
Capital Campaign, Archdiocesan Annual Appeal and Archdiocesan
collections. Oversees and participates in the weekly collections
and counts, prepares weekly spreadsheet report for collections, and
weekly banking of collections and other deposits. Responds to all
communications via email, calls, and meetings with donors who have
changes, questions or updates needed with regards to their pledges.
Maintains volunteer list for bulk mailings, organizes and
supervises volunteers for various parish mailings and campaigns.
Files various documents for the Accounting Department such as
disbursements, cash receipts, and banking deposits. Responsible for
ensuring all employees and volunteers are compliant within the
Archdiocesan Safe Environment Program Guidelines. Secondary
Functions Writes and/or Signs checks as required. Prepares
appropriate documentation and provides duplicating and collating
services for Council Meetings and staff events. Attends workshops
and provides general assistance as needed. Performs other duties as
assigned. Any offered salary is determined based on internal
equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and
prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
