The base hourly rate for this position is $33.60
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. The AC&R Coordinator's role is to plan outages, maintain the storeroom, order spare parts, and maintain equipment hierarchy in SAP. This position is also responsible for meeting facility targets for safety, productivity, and machine uptime.
Responsibilities:

  • Receive inventory in SAP - Receive purchase orders and verify all listed goods are received. Provide change orders and sign for goods as needed. Stock inventory into designated bay location operating forklift. Maintain housekeeping of goods receipt area.
  • Complete requisitions - Gather and collect storeroom requisition sheets. Enter the bin number and quantity of items removed from inventory into computer to maintain accurate records.
  • Repairable equipment - Utilizing multiple computer programs as well as paperwork, initiate requisition for damaged equipment. Identify part, determine vendor based on type of part, contact vendor to obtain estimate and shipping instructions, and ready equipment for shipment. Enter the vendor's name, bin number, and description into the computer to generate a repairable part requisition. Forward the requisition to the supervisor. Post repairs: obtain and file repair documentation, inspect equipment and match against documents, revise price if required, and receive equipment into inventory.
  • Monitor storeroom - Assist employees by locating materials. Visually monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor of low inventory supplies. Utilize multiple computer programs to monitor inventory levels. Contact vendors to determine when supplies will be delivered and track this information on the weekly maintenance schedule document. Manager spare parts purchases in order to meet the monthly maintenance budget.
  • Perform cycle counts - Print the weekly cycle data sheet and verify all stated inventory quantities. Enter actual quantities into the computer as discrepancies are discovered to generate an Inventory Adjustment Report. Work with Cost Accountant to ensure completion and accuracy of cycle counts.
    • Coordinate with the Process Engineers, Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Process Technician, and Plant Integrators on impacted systems and the need to produce engineering documents.
    • Interview work requesters, develop scope of work, and inspect job location to determine job requirements.
    • Scope work orders to estimate the craft, labor hours, manpower, parts, materials, equipment and special tools required to complete the job in a safe and cost-effective manner.
    • Open Work Orders within the Maintenance System (SAP) and update all applicable information (e.g. equipment numbers, maintenance classification, budget item, shut-down requirements, etc.)
    • Place required purchase requisitions for labor and materials and follow up on material orders and scheduling of deliveries. Develop total job cost estimate.
    • Pre-kitting jobs - Pre-kit parts for jobs where it makes sense to have the required material gathered and available on carts ready to go to the job site. Also, parts that are not used from the pre-kitted material to be issued back into stores inventory.
    • Maintain liaison with field supervision and other management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status.
    • Conduct / lead periodic planning & scheduling meetings to determine work order priorities and communicate work order status, track and record.
    • Maintenance conformance to schedule.
    • Coordinate the cost estimates, schedule, planning and safe completion of all Maintenance work orders performed by contractors.
    • Process and post established Maintenance metrics.
    • Continuous improvement of the work order planning and scheduling process through the review and use of the Maintenance metrics.
    • Tracks all equipment information, including spare parts and documentation.
    • Establish an equipment hierarchy within SAP and assign spare parts to equipment Build of Materials (BOMs).
    • Arrange for special tools and equipment.
    • Assist the Technical team to develop and maintain effective preventative and predictive programs for lubrication, thermal, vibration, oil analysis.
    • Assist maintenance supervisor in identifying and executing department training needs in safety and job-related skills.
    • Maintain standardization practices, development and implementation.
    • Ensures that all applicable codes, standards, and specifications are being maintained,
      including, but not limited to NEC, State / Local electrical codes.
    • Must be willing to respond to emergency situations outside normal schedule. Leadership Responsibilities:
      • There are no supervisory responsibilities for direct reports for this position, but this person must have the skills to interact as a leader with all plant department employees.
      • Lead the weekly maintenance planning meetings.
      • Work with plant supervision to communicate the status of planned jobs, unplanned jobs waiting on parts, or unplanned jobs needing engineering or technical resources Requirements: (education, skills, and abilities)
        • Expert level industrial scheduling/ planning experience using SAP tools.
        • Knowledge of pumps, conveyors, combustion systems, piping, hydraulics, rotating equipment, HVAC, etc.
        • Knowledge of OSHA codes such as Lock-Out-Tag-Out and Confined Space.
        • Solid computer skills (including Microsoft Office Products, SAP,).
        • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude.
        • Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical manuals and understand complex equipment functionality.
        • Leadership skills (training, presentations, & teambuilding) and project management.
        • Organizational skills coupled with the leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
        • Experience with failure analysis and reliability methodologies and tools
          • High school diploma or equivalent
          • Associate degree preferred - experience is the key
          • 2+ years of practical experience in an industrial setting
          • Asset reliability experience
          • Knowledge of advanced computer and SAP software
          • Ability to work with others
          • Strong commitment to safety
          • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Physical Requirements:
            The physical requirements of this position are: (these requirements are typical for most of our manufacturing roles)
            • The ability to stand for extended periods
            • The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.

            • The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).
            • The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule.
            • The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively.
