Job ID: J-00297056IntroductionWithin ASML EUV Customer Support
(CS) group an engineer is responsible for executing complex field
upgrades on the latest Lithography machines (EUV) platforms.
Activities focusing on complex mechanical and optical service
actions safety with high level of quality to enable the supporting
team to unlock the potential of ASML products for our customers in
various locations with in the US and worldRoles and
responsibilities:The job requirements and duties include, but are
not limited to the ability to:Diagnose and identify root cause and
define the action plan for solution.Execute action plans
independently and handle most technical problems on his/her
own.Escalate when needed by providing clear problem statements and
technical communication.Interface regularly with internal and
external customers on planning and action progress.Adhere to safety
requirements including pre-work safety assessments and wearing PPE
such as respirators, harnesses, hard-toe shoes, bump cap or hard
hat, etc.Hands-on hardware above, beneath, and around machine
including ladders and platformsProperly handle, package,
administer, and return parts and tools after work is
complete.Provide continuous improvement such as defect or failure
analysis reports, post-mortems, procedure updates, and
opportunities for reducing cycle times and costs.Keep up to date
with latest machine changes by continuous learning and
training.Education and experienceAn Associates degree in a
technical field is required or prior equivalent experience working
in a technical or technician role in work environments such as
military, aviation, automotive, electrical, machining, in lieu of
degree will be accepted.The ability to fluently speak, read, and

skills & characteristics:Mechanical aptitude and ability to
troubleshoot electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems,
software, and general knowledge of semiconductor
processes.Demonstrated experience using computer applications,
including data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheet, and
presentation software.Other informationDepending on project a
engineer needs to be able to work compressed shifts, Work day or
night shift and or standard 40hr work week.Work up to 12 hours in a
customer clean room wearing a cleanroom Gore-Tex suit.Work up to 12
hours in a clean room while wearing a cleanroom Gore-Tex suit and
PPETravel internationally and domestically for training or
cross-site supportTraining travel will include an initial 4-week
training and may also include further training durations of 2-7
weeks in the first year. Additional training as needed.After 40%
travel in first year for training - this role is expected to travel
about 60% of the year.Training locations may include Phoenix or San
Diego in the US and/or Taiwan, Germany, & the NetherlandsTravel for
cross-site support will be based upon business need, durations may
vary from several days to several weeks.Routinely required to sit;
walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel;
stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally
required to move around the campus.Occasionally lift and/or move up
to 20 pounds.May require travel dependent on business
needs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and
ability to adjust focus.The physical demands described here are
